The Keep it Simple Sunday outdoor meeting in Blain Park in Visalia has shifted one hour later, beginning this coming Sunday, October 17th.
Tonight at 7:00 PM via Zoom is the District 47 General Service meeting (think business meeting ), The meeting will also look at the proposed spending plan for CNIA 07 (California Northern Interior Area 7 – all the Districts in the interior area of Northern California).
The name has changed, but the meeting remains the same.
Every year, NAATW holds a weekend conference; this year it goes from the evening of Friday, September 17, through Sunday September 19.
What is NAATW?
NAATW is made up of people from varying backgrounds in service and varying geographic regions. There seems to be a growing realization that Alcoholics Anonymous is somehow moving into a technological age, but we are not sure what form that we might, or ought to take. We are here to communicate our experiences and to inform ourselves about our needs and our experiences when using technology in our service work.
The conference this year will be held via Zoom; and the registration fee is $5. If you have an interest in how AA and technology can work together, this conference could be for you. 🙂
Beginning this Sunday the 12th, the Sunday Evening Serenity Seekers Meeting goes back In-Person -plus- keeping the online Zoom meeting. The Zoom meeting details do not change; but if you miss that in-person connection, 914 W Center Ave in Visalia (7:30 PM) is the opportunity you are looking for. The new meeting location looks like this:
Once a month, we have the opportunity for a tasty $5 breakfast, lots of fellowship, and a great speaker meeting. This month’s speaker is Pat B. from Madera Ranchos, CA.
If you need the agenda and minutes of the last meeting, they can also be found here.
A new meeting has formed, Visalia Jaywalkers, at 7:00 PM on Fridays. Do you sometimes wonder how you could find yourself hit by a bus, again‽ Find your way to the basement at St. Paul’s Church to find out. (P.S. there are no buses running through the basement).
If you have any copies of the Print Version of Meeting Schedule older than August 3, 2021, they are out of date. Get your newest one here. 🙂
Our (belated) Happy Birthday to AA is this year’s (Post) Founders Day Picnic in Plaza Park in Visalia, on October 2nd. Please come out and support the Central Office in this gathering of members in Unity (say Hi to people you’ve missed seeing this year), Recovery (our Speaker meeting featuring Russ R. from Los Banos), and Service (help out with the picnic, and/or support the raffles and maybe win a basket).
